Micro-needling or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive procedure for skin rejuvenation and renewal. Fine needles is used to create a controlled micro-skin injury. The controlled injury causes the body to react by healing and producing collagen , elastin and new capillaries. This will then improve skin texture, firmness and hydration. Micro-needling is highly effective for the treatment of acne scars, stretch marks and wrinkles without damaging or removing the skin.The treatment works on a microscopic level, causing minimal pain and leaving barely visible wounds where the needles penetrated the skin. Patients have no down time either.
Micro-needling will improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It stimulates tissue regeneration, and reduces pore size.
